HP CENTENNIAL MISSION
Continue the legacy of excellence at Highland Park High School by raising funds to benefit teachers and staff through the annual HP Centennial Awards.
HP CENTENNIAL HISTORY
The HP Centennial Dance was created in 2013 by rising seniors, inspired by the stewardship of previous generations of Scots who worked to build and preserve the tradition of excellence for HPISD students and leave a legacy for the next 100 years. Conceived as a school-wide event, this tradition of high school students hosting a benefit remains the only student-led fundraiser benefiting Highland Park High School teachers and staff. The HP Centennial dance features a DJ dance contest, casino, games, prizes, and more.
The HP Centennial Dance has endowed FIVE chairs through the Highland Park Educational Foundation. To date, $2,900,000 has been raised in support of HPHS teachers and staff with 100% of the net proceeds funding the annual HP Centennial Awards.
